New 7 Wonders of the World

Can you name the Seven Wonders of the World (answers below)? I would be veritably impressed if you nailed all seven of them, considering the fact that only one is still extant. In light of this observation, the New7Wonders Foundation is designating a new set of seven wonders, and it needs your input!

Cast your vote for the new seven wonders of the world here.

My Ballot:
The Acropolis, Greece
Angkor, Cambodia
The Great Wall, China
The Hagia Sophia, Turkey

As the only surviving member of the original seven wonders, The Pyramids of Giza, Egypt, has been designated an Honorary New7Wonders Candidate (so you can't vote for it).

Great Pyramid of Giza
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Temple of Artemis
Statue of Zeuss at Olympia
Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus

The Bronco Bandwagon

I am finally aboard the Boise State Broncos bandwagon and all it required was an undefeated season and a victory over Big 12 champs Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. The ride almost ended abruptly before it even began; Zabransky's interception with less than a minute left in the game had me on my feet screaming - and it wasn't "Go Broncos!!!" If I had been a true Broncos fan, I would have had faith that they would somehow come back to steal victory from the jaws of defeat. Yet even if that were so, I could have never imagined a comeback that stylish or electrifying. The Broncos played with so much character and heart that they have gained my admiration and respect. I arrived at the game cheering for just another underdog, but left cheering for the victorious home team, Boise State!

My friend Lance Cpl. Joe Lowe being recognized for his heroism and sacrifice before the game. Joe was paralyzed by shrapnel from a roadside bomb in Iraq. I've never met anyone with such a positive and healthy outlook on life. Truly inspiring.

Ben scored first row seats at the 50 yard line, which earned him instant fame in print and television outlets. Unfortunately, the half-page picture of Ben featured in the Idaho Statesman the next day turned out to be just some other guy.

Our road trip that ended in Glendale, AZ began in Boise with overnight stops in Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Tempe. We stayed with Rustin and Damon in SLC and one of Ben's friends named Sarah in Vegas. New's Year Eve was spent in the Mill District in Tempe, which was one giant block party.
